Be a force for good!
You've got big dreams.
And you can do anything you put your mind to. Maybe it's a promotion, or a new role, or pursuing your passion project full-time. Or maybe you don't know what's next, but you do know you want to wake up every single morning feeling like what you do matters. It does! And the world needs more women like you. Like...now. Seriously.
Catalysts spark change.
Truth talk: you're responsible for creating the life and career you want.
While we can pin our dissatisfaction on any number of things – a boss that doesn't care, not enough money, not enough time, the patriarchy – ultimately, if you want something to be different in your life, it's up to you to make it happen.
Our philosophy is that change starts with you. It starts with knowing who you are, what you have to offer, and what change you want to see in the world. Because whether or not you do is really a matter of believing that you can and committing to doing it. We can help with that.
The next cohort starts October 2nd, 2017.
So what is it?
It's a 6-week course taught by Women Catalysts co-founder Lindsay Jean Thomson. It includes:
* Our favorite tools for personal and professional development: weekly workbooks and audio/video content
* Real-time feedback: 6 weekly group coaching calls
* Extra accountability and support: a study buddy picked just for you and a private online group
* and – bonus – 3 free months of Women Catalysts membership* after the program ends for continued support (*for new members only, a $60 value. Current members get 20% off The Catalyst Collective.)
The Catalyst Collective is great for you if...
* you're in paralysis mode on making a decision
* you want to make a big career or life change...but you're not quite sure what you want to commit to
* you want to work on some key skills like self-awareness, resiliency, and confidence
* you'd like to learn more about what your real strengths are and how to put them to good use
* you'd like to do this work in a small group setting with other thoughtful, curious, motivated women
Past TCC participants have gone on to use what they learn to launch start-ups and non-profits; go for (and get!) promotions, raises, and new jobs; and develop concrete plans of action for everything from getting into grad school to writing business plans and more.
This session of The Catalyst Collective is capped at a small group, giving you lots of personalized attention and care.
How it works
A new module is released each week of the program with audio content and a workbook. You can do the homework on your own or with your study buddy (picked just for you!). You also have access to our online community where you can give and receive support on everything from the curriculum to getting an extra pair of eyes on your resume to sharing ideas for inspiration and motivation.
Coaching calls for the fall session will take place Mondays at 4:30PM (PST). This program takes place online and via video conferencing, so you can participate from anywhere.
- Monday, October 2nd 4:30-5:30PM PST
- Monday, October 9th 4:30-5:30PM PST
- Monday, October 16th 4:30-5:30PM PST
- Monday, October 23rd 4:30-5:30PM PST
(*break week of October 30th)
- Monday, November 6th 4:30-5:30PM PST
- Monday, November 13th 4:30-5:30PM PST
Coaching calls take place “office hours” style – we recommend participating as often as possible to get the most out of it, but most people miss a call or two (so don't stress if you can't make them all!).
Don't just take our word for it – here's what past participants have said:
“The Catalyst Collective is the best thing I've done for myself this year. It felt great to be fully supported through this process, not only by Lindsay, but also by the other amazing women in the program." – Katherine Nobles
“Lindsay Jean Thomson is an incredibly thoughtful leader who is excellent at both calling you out and being your biggest cheerleader. I can't speak highly enough about TCC, and hope other women can take advantage of the rewarding work that gets done when you join it!” – Kristin Merkel
"The Catalyst Collective encouraged me to take ideas that I had shelved and put them into action through bite sized steps. It offered thoughtful pushing and unpretentious and positive community. Lindsay was able to see me – my vision, challenges, and bullshit – and call them out, offer warmth, and hold me accountable. It was putting in the work to putting myself first and the insecurities aside." – Donna Sinar
"When I sought out Women Catalysts to address professional self-doubt, I could never have imagined how transformational the collective would be. Perceptive, compassionate, and adept at simplifying complex situations, Lindsay guided me on how to reshape my personal and professional spheres and prioritize my wants and needs. Most importantly, however, is how Lindsay taught me the importance of – and how to – say no without feeling guilty. Coupled with the connections I made with my fellow cohorts, The Catalyst Collective was truly life- and perception-changing." – Joie Botkin
"The Catalyst Collective gave me exactly what I needed. At the end of the program I'd built confidence not only around where I was going, but where I already was. I built an understanding of how things I'd seen as weakness and vulnerabilities were perceived by others as strengths both personally and professionally. If you're considering enrolling, do it! Put the work in. Like anything else, the more you put in, the more you get out." – Catriona Churman
